Minister for the Environment, John Gormley, launches the 2010 Coca-Cola HBC Ireland sponsored National Spring Clean

Dublin, February 26th 2010. National Spring Clean is Ireland’s most popular, well recognised and successful anti-litter initiative. The annual event which is run by An Taisce, the Heritage Trust for Ireland, encourages volunteers all across Ireland to organise clean-ups in their local area during the month of April.

In 2009 some 500,000 volunteers organised thousands of clean-ups all around Ireland, enhancing the appearance of local communities.

Coca-Cola HBC Ireland has been sponsoring National Spring Clean since its inception in 1999.
